Metal, hardcore, hip-hop, punk, rock, indie and whatever else tickles my fancy from the 80's, 90's and now. Pretty much anything that has influenced me and my ears since they became more than just little holes in the side of my head.

Thursday

Thursday 9am - Noon

(de)composition is an all-classical show taking a look at wonderful music from forgotten composers and forgotten music by wonderful composers. We look for music that fits a certain theme, and will on occasion "de-compose" the work to see what makes it tick. Also listen for interviews and live performances by local musicians and composers. Follow (de)composition on Twitter or visit the Official Website

Thursday Noon - 3pm

Thursday 3pm - 6pm
And who is this Bill Boyd of Thursday Drive-Time? To quote the late Lowell George: "Two degrees in be-bop, A PhD in swing, He's a master of rhythm, He's a rock and roll king..."

Thursday 6pm - 9pm

An eclectic mix of chill music with an emphasis on the human voice.  Chants, drums, spoken word, rock, pop, hip hop, electronica and whatever else comes to mind.  It won't put you to sleep, but it may put you at ease...

Thursday 9pm - Midnight
Featuring the music, news and discussion of issues pertaining to Pacific Island communities worldwide.

Friday

Friday 9am - Noon

Tune in every Friday for an eclectic morning mix of music designed to make a good day an even better one. Join Derek as he plays a myriad of indie pop/rock/folk with an ear for the noteworthy tracks often missed by the mainstream, IN CASE YOU HADN'T HEARD is the antidote to the often mundane and vapid spiel of commercial radio.

Friday 12 noon - 3pm
Highlighting local acts.

Friday 3pm - 6pm
Our Friday afternoon hoe down will bring you folk and old-time music from the margins. You’ll hear country musicians from the 20s and 30s like The Carter Family and The Skillet Lickers, as well as revivalists of today like Old Crow Medicine Show and The Flat Mountain Girls. You’ll get a sampling of folk music from Phil Ochs and Bob Dylan to John Prine and Dan Bern, as well as Gospel from both the black church and mountain traditions. And of course you’ll hear from all boys named Merle, including Travis, Watson, and Haggard. You won’t find any elevator music up on Shootin’ Creek, just the rugged and the raw. “Goin’ up to Shootin’ Creek, goin’ on a run Goin’ up to Shootin’ Creek, to have a little fun”- Charlie Poole

Friday 6pm - 9pm
An indie, electro, retro relief that begins with the cool tickle of orange flavored bubbles dissolving the tar in your head, and ends with fifteen of your best looking friends in designer sunglasses woo-wooing on a sun soaked patio to your new favorite song.

Friday 9pm - 10:30pm

Two childhood friends who always talked about having a radio program. Matty, an encyclopedia of useless music and pop culture knowledge, is also an over-opinionated metal head. Josh is more the laid back music for a road trip type of guy. Opposite ends of the musical spectrum that meet in the middle, but by no means middle of the road. They want listeners to chime in as well. What were you doing when you heard that song the first time? Songs your ex played that drove you insane. Josh and Matty want to put it all on the table. Make you think. Help you remember. Make you laugh.

Friday 10:30pm - Midnight

Every Friday night throughout Summer 2010, Hektor will bring you some of the most memorable songs from 1990-1999 and maybe even some stuff from early 2000. We'll talk about the music, the TV shows, the news, take some calls and maybe even give away some stuff. Requests/suggestions are always being taken at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Saturday

Saturday 9am - Noon
Hey kids! Turn off the cartoons and turn on the music Saturday mornings with Calvin's Clubhouse! Calvin (age 6) will present a mix of cool kids music from people like Dan Zanes, Ralph's World, the Hipwaders, Johnny Cash and lots more. This is kid's music that parents will like, too! Calvin also likes a little bit of rock n' roll and blues, and says "sometimes I'll stop the music for jokes and science stuff"

Saturday Noon - 3pm
An experiment in inter-generational musical appreciation.  Bob's an old 60's blues/rocker and musical omnivore, playing the music of his youth and extended adolescence along with a mix of modern music accessible to anyone from Teens to Sixty and Beyond.  Bob takes his music very seriously but doesn't always play serious music.

Boom Snap Clap is occasionally pre-empted by Bob's Sector R show. Where he breaks from the usual format and musically anything goes.

'Se chavo el vecindario.  That's what happens when you let a crazy, culturally shell-shocked puerto rican loose on Utah's airwaves.  Yes damas and merry men, this rican is out to make the world and all of the music in it just a little more accessible for all of us.  And just like the world can get a little a dirty, so will I.  But like we say, entren que caben mil.  Come give me a listen and find out why Fred Sanford blamed us for Yankeelandia's roach problems.'

Sunday 6pm - 9pm

“Off the cuff, from the gut, what ever comes to mind.”
The place to play, with caution that is. Mental Mike and a host of random characters are here to entertain and delight. Okay, that's crap, it's really Mental and his inner voices having a place to come out. We can't control him. He seriously plays what he wants, says what he wants, and does what he wants. Anything from Country to Rock, back to the 80's, and ahead to new stuff.

Sunday 9pm (or 10pm) - 12:00pm

Completely unorganized radio. Your last bit of uncertainty before the work week really begins. One week, the show starts at 9pm and we'll be in the studio. Maybe with a guest or two, playing a bunch of music or talking about whatever comes to mind. The next week, the show starts at 10pm we'll be live from Mo's Neighborhood Grill in Downtown Salt Lake. Bringing you Salt Lake City's only live and uncensored comedy showcase. Find out what we're doing this week by visiting our twitter page at http://www.twitter.com/totlshow

Warning! totl is live and uncensored! You will hear adult language and off-color humor
